At Abbyson.com, a leading furniture company with over $20 million in annual gross revenue, I serve as both the Manager and main Developer for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Business-to-Business (B2B) initiatives. I spearheaded a comprehensive website overhaul that introduced new revenue-generating flows. A notable achievement under my leadership was the development of the AH Membership program, which contributed an additional $300,000 in annual revenue and doubled our Average Order Value (AOV). My role also involved executing key projects such as SEO optimization, UX/UI enhancements, performance speed improvements, AI-driven search and database solutions, application integrations, and theme migrations.
At The Créme Shop, a prominent cosmetics brand with over $25 million in annual sales, I played a pivotal role in the company’s ecommerce success. Known for viral product launches and high-profile collaborations with influencers and brands such as Jeffree Star, Tiffany from SNSD, LipstickNick, Sanrio, BT21, and Sephora, I led the complete overhaul of their website. My efforts included redesigning layout visuals, enhancing content and functionality, and integrating advanced eCommerce applications like Google Analytics, SEO, quality shipment tracking, QuickBooks API, AWS/FBA, and REST APIs. These enhancements resulted in a fivefold increase in sales, an eightfold improvement in site speed, and a tenfold rise in unique visitors across multiple development phases.
Nanowell, a nutrition supplement company with $7 million in annual eCommerce revenue, dominates the Korean market with its patented ionized calcium and mineral products. Aiming to expand into international and U.S. markets, I led the complete redevelopment of their website to better target these audiences. I successfully migrated their original WooCommerce site to Shopify Plus, overcoming challenges related to integrating their proprietary ERP system. The project included implementing SEO, international payment gateways, precise language translations, global shipment update APIs, and an automated IP address converter, alongside creating engaging content. As a result of this comprehensive redevelopment, annual revenue surged by over 400%, and unique visitors increased by 1,200%.
ENC-Inc. is a global logistics and cargo company managing freight for major brands like Samsung, Hankook Tires, and Dacor. I collaborated on a project to modernize their decade-old website, transitioning from an initial Github prototype to a fully revamped site using jQuery and JavaScript. The redevelopment involved wireframing from scratch, utilizing Bootstrap and Node.js for design, and integrating hardcoded MSW with internal space for MySQL adaptability. Partnering with a fellow student from the UCLA bootcamp, we focused on creating a UX/UI-friendly, mobile-responsive site tailored for business presentations. The most challenging part was that they were not on any ecommerce/website hosted platforms, so it was hardcoded.
HyuneeEats, a prominent Asian-American YouTube influencer with over 300 million views and 1.8 million subscribers, has collaborated with major global brands including Amazon, Popeyes, H Mart, and the LA Dodgers. I developed a custom Shopify website for her, utilizing Liquid & Hydrogen, JavaScript, and jQuery to implement static encryption for enhanced user experience and seamless content updates. The site integrates multiple REST APIs for efficient content management and features custom backend eCommerce functions along with third-party applications for merchandising and sales analytics.
